Project Description - This project included the expansion of the mechanical cooling facility to the McCoy Data Room and the introduction of cold aisle containment to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the in-row CRAC units. Stage 1 of the McCoy Data room was delivered in 2012 with 8 IT Cabinets and 2 in-row CRAC units. This project stage included the roll-out of the third in-row CRAC unit and the remaining 8 IT cabinets in a live Data Room environment.

M&T Consulting Engineers provided project superintendency and design documentation services for the following:
- A roof mounted platform to accommodate additional mechanical plant
- A third in-row CRAC unit and external condenser
- Introduction of cold aisle containment
- Modifications to smoke detection and occupant warning systems
